This page explains, in plain language, what data NicheWright handles. It covers this website (nichewright.com) and the NicheWright application (app.nichewright.com). If anything is unclear, write to us — contact details are at the bottom.

On this website

The marketing site does not run advertising or analytics cookies today. It stores one thing in your browser: your light/dark theme preference (in localStorage, never sent to us). Our hosting provider processes standard request logs to deliver the site securely.

In the app, when you create an account

• Account details — your email address and login credentials.
• Your Etsy shop connection — when you connect a shop through Etsy's official authorization flow, we store the token that lets NicheWright create draft listings in your shop. You can disconnect it at any time from Settings.
• Content you submit — keywords you research, product photos and text you upload to build listings.
• Marketplace data — public listing information processed through the official Etsy API to produce your analyses.
• Usage records — counts of searches, images and drafts, used for plan limits and billing.

Browser extension (optional)

If you install the NicheWright observer extension, it reads the Etsy pages you are actively browsing and sends those signals to your own account, to power the live columns in your research. It only works while you browse; it does not crawl in the background.

Payments

Subscription payments are handled by a dedicated payment provider. We do not store your card number.

Processing partners

Hosting, payment and AI-generation providers process data under contract, only to deliver the service. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your shop's data to build products for anyone else.

Your choices

• Disconnect your Etsy shop at any time from Settings.
• Email us to access or delete your account data.

As the product evolves, we will keep this page accurate and update the date above when something meaningful changes.
