This page explains, in plain language, what data NicheWright handles. It covers this website (nichewright.com) and the NicheWright application (app.nichewright.com). If anything is unclear, write to us — contact details are at the bottom.

On this website

The site uses Google Analytics 4 for visits and plan interactions. Analytics storage starts denied in every region and is enabled if you accept analytics cookies. Advertising and Google Signals are disabled. You can change your choice through Cookies in the footer. Theme and consent preferences are stored in your browser. Hosting providers process standard request logs to serve the site.

Studio requests and photos

Information entered in the request form stays on the page until you choose to send it. Only pressing Save draft stores your name, email and product facts in this device’s local browser storage. Delete saved draft removes that stored copy. Reviewing, copying or downloading a brief does not send it to us. Send to Studio records your approved name, email and product brief in our database. Status, delivery files and revision messages are kept with that request, accessible through its private link. Anyone with the link can access that request; keep it private. The email button opens your own mail application; you attach photos and files yourself. Personal fields and product text are not included in our analytics events.

Google sign-in identifies your workspace account. We store membership email, plan, start/end dates, status and the founder’s payment reference to manage paid access. Card details are not collected here. Research observations are associated with your account. Information you send by email is used to review the inquiry and deliver the accepted work. Share listing-only CSV files, not buyer or order records. We ask separately before using your product photos in a new public portfolio example. Contact us to discuss stored content or request deletion.

In the app, when you create an account

• Account details — your email address and login credentials.
• Your Etsy shop data — you decide what to share: the CSV export Etsy gives you as a seller, and the pages the extension reads while you browse. NicheWright does not connect to your Etsy account and holds no Etsy access token.
• Content you submit — keywords you research, product photos and text you upload to build listings.
• Marketplace observations — visible pages read by our browser engine and listing records you choose to share, processed for your research.
• Usage records — counts of searches, images and drafts, used for plan limits and billing.

Browser extension (optional)

If you install the NicheWright observer extension, it reads the Etsy pages you are actively browsing and sends those signals to your own account, to power the live columns in your research. It only works while you browse; it does not crawl in the background.

Payments

Subscription payments are handled by a dedicated payment provider. We do not store your card number.

Processing partners

Hosting, payment and AI-generation providers process data under contract, only to deliver the service. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your shop's data to build products for anyone else.

Your choices

• Remove the extension or delete your uploaded exports at any time.
• Email us to access or delete your account data.

As the product evolves, we will keep this page accurate and update the date above when something meaningful changes.
